Year in Review

Posted by Curtis Haring

It has been quite the year – Nationally we saw a new president who has yet to institute communism/totalitarianism/socialism/Nazism et. al. Yes, it was a year of shouters, and liars.

Locally, we saw liquor laws dramatically change (I would say for the better), a Public Safety Building be proposed, thrown out, and then reinstated in the location that was already talked about, and a Nondiscrimination ordinance pass – with the Churches consent.

This blog, too, grew over the past year, gaining much attention when it broke the now famous Main Street Kiss story. Furthermore, the much lauded “Bills to Watch” series got the year off to a good start for the blog and will be returning for another session of analysis shortly.

Have a good night tonight, and have a happy new year! As an added bonus, here are the most popular posts by month for the year 2009:

January – Bills to Watch: SB 32 – Wrongful Death Amendments – S. McCoy

February – All you Need is Love
