Maybe I'm being too much of an alarmist but I'm still nervous about it. Seems like they could still hold women who chose to stay in abusive relationships responsible if a beating results in a miscarriage, for example. I agree with you in that he should have looked at the reason a woman would go to this length, but it doesn't seem like he addresses that with this revision either. Though, I'm not sure we'd ever see a bill that would make it easier for a young woman to get an abortion in Utah, so I suppose there's no sense in holding my breath over that.
