Interesting Fact:

In Canada we used the end of the USSR the "Dissolution of the USSR"
When I came to the US I noticed it was referred to as the "Collapse of the USSR"

Poliitical Language has always been interesting to m, and in this case it seems more antagonistic to call it the "Collapse", like a house falling into itself, rather than the "dissolution" which to me seems to relay a meaning of an acknowledged decision that the system was no longer effective.

Though what do I know..I am just a homeless guy ;)
